Water-Based Filming | Underwater Camera | Dominican Republic & Caribbean

Experienced water cameraman available for film, television, commercial and documentary productions in the Dominican Republic and across the Caribbean.

With more than 30 years of experience in film and television production, I specialise in camera work in, on and around water, from marine and coastal filming to swimming pool work and underwater sequences.

Now based in the Dominican Republic, I am available to work with local and international production companies filming across the island and throughout the wider Caribbean.

Since the mid-1990s, I have worked as a camera operator and underwater camera specialist on feature films, television series, commercials and documentaries. My experience spans a wide range of production environments, giving me a practical understanding of the technical, creative and logistical challenges of filming in and around water.

Combining extensive camera department experience with HSE/ADAS commercial scuba diving qualifications, I bring a solid understanding of both the creative demands of a production and the practical considerations of working in aquatic environments.

I work collaboratively with directors, cinematographers, producers, performers, stunt teams, divers and other departments to help achieve the required shots safely and efficiently, while meeting the creative and technical needs of each production.

For productions filming in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean, I offer an experienced, specialist camera resource already based in the region, with the flexibility to support a broad range of water-based filming requirements.

I hold Australian and British citizenship and Spanish permanent residency.
